Sample Required:

FFPE tumour tissue block OR fresh tissue in DCGL Preservative Solution at 2–8°C.

Test Time:

Biopsy-dependent. 8–12 working days.

Test Normal Range:

No fixed normal range.

What is the Test?

A focused NGS panel evaluating **KIT, PDGFRA and BRAF** mutations commonly associated with gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST).

Test Procedure:

Tumour tissue undergoes mutation analysis via targeted NGS.

When to Take the Test:

When GIST is suspected or confirmed and mutation status is required for treatment planning.

Who Should Take This Test:

Patients with GIST requiring mutation-based therapy guidance.

Precautions for Exceptional Cases (Pregnancy, etc.):

Inform clinician of pregnancy; ensure tissue block quality.
